Artichoke & Spinach Pizza Recipe
A craveable Indian-inspired vegetarian pizza packed with creamy and delicious cheese, meaty artichokes and fresh spinach. The secret ingredient? SugarRoti Vegetable Nu spice. A perfectly balanced blend inspired by traditional vegetable curries to create layers of aromatic spice, flavors and balanced heat bringing a Nu spice experience to an Italian classic. You won't be able to eat just one slice!
4 tablespoons olive oil or ghee (clarified butter)
2 tablespoons flour
1/4 cup water
1 lb spinach
1 16 oz artichoke can, drained
2 cups shredded cheese
1 pizza dough
¼ cup fresh basil, finely chopped
Preheat Oven to 425°F
Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add SugarRoti Vegetable Nu Spice package and sauté until spices are sizzling and fragrant (1-2 min)
Add flour and water and whisk constantly until a bechamel like sauce is created. Remove from heat and set aside. Remove chili pepper (3-5 min).
Stretch and shape pizza dough over a baking sheet. Brush with remaining oil. Spread bechamel sauce, spinach, artichoke and cheese evenly. Bake the pizza until the crust is golden brown (30-40 min).
Garnish with basil before serving.
