Masala Potatoes Recipe
A bowl of simply spiced potatoes is one of the most beloved vegetable dishes by our co-founder, Bina. Inexpensive, quick, and delicious - we promise it will become a favorite to add to your repertoire as a home cook. A perfectly seasoned and crispy potato that can be served as a fry or transformed into an unforgettable masala potato salad with the addition of celery and mayo. It’s a versatile dish that is an ideal compliment to a springtime picnic or summer gathering.
1 SugarRoti Potato Cauliflower Nu Spice Package
3 tablespoons olive oil or ghee (clarified butter)
4 medium potatoes skin-on, cut into ½-inch fries
1 medium serrano chili, finely chopped (remove the seeds for a milder spice)
¼ cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
In salted boiling water, cook the potatoes (7-10 min).
Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add SugarRoti Potato Cauliflower Nu Spice package and sauté until spices are sizzling and fragrant (1-2 min).
Add serrano and cooked potatoes. Sauté and mix (4-5 min).
Remove chili pepper. Garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
