Enhanced the traditional greens beans served at Thanksgiving. Try SugarRoti's Indian inspired greens beans and tofu side dish at your next dinner event and wow your guests.
- 1 SugarRoti Tofu Nu Spice Package
- 3 tablespoons olive oil or ghee (clarified butter)
- 1lb green beans, trimmed and chopped
- 1 medium yellow onion, finely chopped (approx. 2 cups)
- 1 medium tomato, finely chopped (approx. 1 cup)
- 1 16 oz firm tofu, cubed
- 1 medium serrano chili, finely chopped (remove seeds for milder spice)
- 1/4 cup cilantro
- Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add SugarRoti Tofu Nu Spice package and sauté until spices are sizzling and fragrant (1-2 min).
- Add onions, serrano and sauté until tender. Add tomato and saute (5 min).
- Add tofu and mix, then add the green beans and cook (5-8 min)
- Remove whole spices, sprinkle with cilantro and serve.
