Chai Zucchini Bread Recipe
This loaf is full of all the aromatic spices you'd find in a cup of SugarRoti Chai thanks to our Chai Nu Spice blend: warm cinnamon, spicy ginger, black pepper, floral cardamom, and complex cloves. Moist and delicious, with plenty of zucchini, this flavor-packed bread is wonderful for breakfast,dessert, or a delightful afternoon snack. Enjoy with coffee, chai, or even golden milk for a sweet escape.
1 cup milk or milk alternative
2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups zucchini, grated (squeeze as much water out as you can)
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs at room temperature
1 tsp vanilla extract
Heat milk in a sauce pan over medium heat. Pour the SugarRoti Chai Nu Spice to the milk and steep; remove from heat, pour through a fine mesh strainer and set aside. Butter loaf pan and set aside (10 min).
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, baking power and salt and mix. Mix in grated zucchini, pre-made SugarRoti Chai, butter, and one egg at a time (10 min).
Pour the filling into prepared loaf pan and bake (45 min).
Cool and serve with SugarRoti Chai or coffee.
