Cabbage & Sweet Pea Ramen Recipe
This Indian style Ramen has all of the comforts of traditional ramen with a Vegetable Nu Spice twist. Black Mustard Seeds, Cayenne, Chili Pepper, Coriander, Cumin, Fenugreek, Garam Masala, Garlic, Ginger, Sea Salt, and Turmeric add rich layers of flavor to fresh cabbage, sweet peas and classic noodles. This easy and delicious creation can be served as a healthy noodle dish or a zesty soup with the simple addition of broth.
1 package ramen (noodles only)
3 tablespoons olive oil or ghee (clarified butter)
1 lb cabbage, sliced
1 lb sweet peas (approx. 2 cups)
1 medium serrano chili, finely chopped (remove the seeds for a milder spice)
¼ cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
Follow the directions on the back of the noodle package to cook the noodles (5 min).
Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add SugarRoti Vegetable Nu Spice package and sauté until spices are sizzling and fragrant (1-2 min).
Add cabbage, serrano and sauté until tender and cooked, scraping bottom of pan (10 min).
Add sweet peas, cooked ramen noodles and mix (3 min).
Remove chili pepper and garnish with cilantro before serving.
