Baked Chicken Nu Wings with Onions & Peppers Recipe
A recipe from our Community member - @meghanitup was inspired by the Hindu holiday of Holi. Holi is also known as the "Festival of Colors" and the "Festival of Spring." These American chicken wings are were baked extra crispy and perfectly seasoned with SugarRoti Chicken Nu Spice. Tossed and topped with colorful bell peppers, red and green onions, and cilantro - This dish is its own holiday!
1 lbs chicken wings
1 SugarRoti Chicken Nu Spice Package
2 tablespoons olive oil (divided)
16 oz mini bell peppers, sliced
1 small red onion, sliced
1/2 cup green onions, chopped
1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
Preheat Oven to 425°F
Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper
In a large bowl, combine chicken wings, 1 tablespoon oil, and SugarRoti Chicken Nu Spice Package. Toss to coat evenly (1-2 min).
Arrange chicken wings on prepared baking sheet. Bake until golden brown, flipping halfway (45 min).
Meanwhile, in a pan, heat remaining oil over medium-high heat in a pan, add sliced red onion and peppers. Sauté until softened (5-10 min).
Remove chicken wings from the oven, remove whole spices and place wings in a large bowl. Add sauté onion and peppers and toss. Garnish with green onions and cilantro before serving.
